About
Folk music is best described as music of the people. It’s also known as music performed by custom over a long period of time. The folk songs included in this collection are American, English and Welsh, as well as a piece from Southern Harmony and Musical Companion. Eventually, classical music composers began incorporating folk tunes in their compositions.
